Journey through Jordan

For Easter this year, our family ventured out to the Middle East exploring the beautiful country of Jordan for a week. For those with an appreciation for culture, history, and diverse landscapes, I strongly recommend you taking a trip to this region. Within a week, we went from exploring the Roman city of Jerash to visiting Jesus’ baptism site to hiking the different peaks in Petra to rolling down sand dunes in Wadi Rum, and floating in the Dead Sea. This was a trip of a lifetime, and I hope you’ll be able to experience it too!

Incredible views at the top of the hill. We were surprised at how large this roman city is.

There are so many religious sites worth visiting in Jordan. Here we are at Mount Nebo where Moses declared the Promised Land. This is also where Moses is known to be buried.

We made it to the top at sunset and The Treasury has rose tint to its surface. Beauty at its purest form.

Need to knows

Jordan Select Tours Recommended by friends, they are extremely experienced and knowledgable. They set out our entire itinerary and worked out logistics for our group who were flying from Vancouver and Hong Kong.

Movenpick Hotel Petra It is 100 meters from the entrance to Petra. If you could push your budget, it is worth the convenience so that you can reach the entrance right when it opens and stay until it closes.

Kempinski Hotels in Aqaba and Dead Sea  5* service, 180 degrees view of the water. Perfect for much needed R&R after a long flight and a week of exploring the country.
